French Canadian Autumn I
Twelve day cruise aboard the SEABOURN PRIDE starting on September 21, 2001 from New York.
Cruise the Gulf of Maine and Saint Lawrence, Boston in Massachusetts, Saint John in New Brunswick, Lunenburg and Baddeck in Nova Scotia, Charlottetown in Prince Edward Island, Quebec City in Quebec, returning in Montreal.
Among the most memorable experiences of travel is sailing in or out of New York Harbour, where Lady Liberty welcomes you with her upraised torch.
Settled in 1630, becoming capital of the Massachusetts Bay Colony just three years later, Boston is today the largest city in New England and the focus of cultural life in this historic part of North America. But not all of the city's history is that old. Today's visitors are as likely to seek out TV's "Cheers" bar as the Boston Tea Party ship.
The splendour of the French Canadian countryside comes, picturesque drive showcasing the region's rich history and against the backdrop of burnished autumn leaves. Witness the churches and quaint cottages of island's End; set serenely in theq brioche and cookies in Lac Beauport, you will continue to drive along the Beaupre Coast. The name comes from a plm' to Canadian founder jacques Carrier, who proclaimed bit. A view from Lunenburg's beautiful waterfront today will take in many of these established marine industries.
This cruise is performed by SEABOURN CRUISES on board SEABOURN PRIDE running on the following dates during year 2001.
