The Akali Hotel was built in 1988 and the name comes from "Akali", the daughter of King Minoas in ancient Crete and mother of Kydon, the founder of Hania town, the hotel itself is situated in the west of Hania, on the main road to Kolymbari.Offering a warm Cretan atmosphere and hospitality, the hotel is open all year and consists of 82 rooms including 4 suites, which are all well-appointed and offer a variety of facilities.The hotel facilities include a bar, a restaurant, comfortable sitting areas which lead towards a well maintained courtyard with a snack bar and a swimming pool that operates daily during the spring and summer months.Breakfast consist of a buffet with a great variety of warm and cold dishes, fruits of the season, fruit salads and other foods.
