Miramare Hotel in Taormina is a building that dates back to 1922, originally built as Casa Patrizia by Signor Antonino Lo Turco. After becoming a hotel in 1924, it was enriched with antique objects, which still today create a particular ambience.
During the Second World War, it was requisitioned by the occupying military forces and transformed into a war tribunal. The Miramare re-became a hotel and destination for illustrious visitors in 1946 and after a change of ownership in 1992; it was completely refurbished and enlarged in full respect of its original features and surroundings.
