Nowhere is quite like Edinburgh.

Edinburgh is a cosmopolitan capital city with world status, from Castle battlements to cobbled streets; there is a sense of history and tradition.
As the home of the largest arts festival in the world, it is a city of culture conscious. Edinburgh is, however, far more than just the Old Town. North of the green space of Princes Street Gardens is the New Town, where neo-classical symmetry and grand facades were planned and built from the 18th century onwards.
Beyond the city, looking south from the city's Royal Botanic Garden, the Pentland Hills lie on the horizon. Look out from other high points such as Calton Hill from which long curved beaches on the east coast can be seen.
