Antiparos is located on the south west of the island of Paros, from which it is separated by a narrow channel with a minimum width of one mile and depth 4,2 meters.

It has an area of 35 square km while due to its long shape it has a coastline of 57 km.The great advantage of the island is that it is next to the island of Paros (10 minutes to Pounta and 30 minutes to Parikia).The renowned cave of Antiparos is located on the hill of Agios Ioannis roughly in the middle of the east coast.
The Venetian Castle does not loom from some high point as one might expect. The entrance lies on the north side of the central square next to the church of Agios Nikolaos.Several nice beaches are found on the island like Kaloudia, a sandy beach, Theologos, Sifneikos Gialos.
